A space for creative endeavours
The Loft is a small but very flexible space that can be used for exhibitions, creative workshops, meetings, photoshoots, popups, writing retreats, individual or group workspace and, small yoga and pilates sessions. Take a look at our SPACE page to see the type of events we can host.
The Loft is a sensitively converted building in Hayfield, Derbyshire.
Transformed from a disused outbuilding, the Loft has been reimagined as a venue for creative workshops and small events. The space often showcases the work of sculptor and designer Carly Grice, who occupies the first-floor workshop.

We host creative workshops, artists' shows, and gatherings that celebrate the stunning setting of the Peak District.
We're interested in sculpture, painting, woodblock/ linocut printing, illustration, photography, seasonal wreath-making, floral displays, still-life drawing, yoga, pilates, walking, running and cycling, and just about anything else you'd like to share.
